The Glebe Neighbourhood

In 2024-25 Retail Revival worked with Stevenage Borough Council to revitalise the Glebe Shopping Parade in the Chells Neighbourhood.

We visited every business to understand their needs and delivered a programme of business support which included digital marketing and visual merchandising. The environment was aesthetically harsh, shuttered vacant properties lacked kerb appeal for shoppers and residents living above the shops.

We commissioned renowned urban graffiti artist ‘Its Artista’ to create a large installation across five shutters fronting the Gangnam Restaurant. We also decorated the butchers and convenience stores with window art and held festive events to attract more footfall to the area.

This was a small project, with quick wins and instant impact loved by all.
