North Finchley

The Grand Arcade is a small but charming 1930’s shopping arcade in North Finchley that had begun to appear unloved. Retail Revival set up the North Finchley Town Team (NFTT), and engaged the landlord of the arcade to formulate a business plan to revive the arcade. After one year the Town Team received a grant to animate three of the vacant shops, each with a different theme: community, business and culture. The community space became a place for public consultations, events and activities, while the business unit was used to support local start-ups with workshops and talks. The culture space hosted shows and workshops.
