Belvedere Book Day

To celebrate the world of children’s literature, we delivered a book day for Bexley Council to welcome families to the high street in Nuxley and Belvedere. We understand the power of costume characters and so invited Peppa Pig to ‘sign’ some of her new books and pose with our young guests. The event also included story telling and a book trail where accompanied children found crocheted book characters in shops windows to win a book bag. Craft activities included face painting, balloon modelling, a Harry Potter slime workshop and Charlie’s Chocolate Lolly Factory.

We welcome 600 people to this little town centre, local shops enjoyed a busy trading day and the local community enjoyed the free activities.
