Bruce Grove

Retail Revival received a commission in April 2019 from London Borough of Haringey Council to deliver the Bruce Grove Business Support Programme. This twelve-month initiative identified need, and delivered interventions, to support businesses in the Bruce Grove area of Tottenham.

Initial face-to-face contact with all 106 businesses in the project area enabled the project team members to meet potential beneficiaries, introduce the objectives of the programme and build trust.

Business audits identified priority needs and informed a programme of action planning, 1-2-1 mentoring, group training sessions and a small grants programme.

The outputs included:

106 Face-to-face initial meetings
35 Assessments / Action Plans
20 Business Plans/project plans
20 Marketing and/or Communication Plans
50 Marketing and Social Media Campaigns
20 Premises improved using new in-store layouts and visual merchandising
30 Accreditations/Qualifications awarded in food handling and First Aid
30 Websites and digital marketing initiatives created
1 Traders network formed
